1932 Slaterville Recruitment Flyer (1)

Dear community members and organizations,

As you may have seen, Habitat for Humanity of Tompkins and Cortland Counties (TCHFH) is lovingly rehabbing 1932 Slaterville Road, an 1840’s Greek Revival farmhouse, and we are looking for our next homeowner family!   We would appreciate any help in spreading the word about this affordable homeownership opportunity. Flyer attached, and please read below for more information!
TCHFH has an affordable homeownership opportunity in the Town of Dryden (1932 Slaterville Road, Ithaca), a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, approximately 1,900 square feet. This house will be part of Habitat’s community housing trust. It is in the Ithaca City School District (Caroline Elementary).  TCHFH is in search of homebuyer applicants and will be taking applications for homeownership from May 1st – June 30th, 2020
Conveniently located on Route 79 (Slaterville Road) a 10 minute drive east of the City of Ithaca, this 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home has a one car garage on a one acre lot.
Habitat homebuyers are also homebuilders. Selected buyers will help build or fix up their homes and pay an affordable mortgage. We partner with first-time buyers who meet income guidelines (see our website for full chart). If you live in Tompkins County and have Section 8 rental assistance, you may be able to use that toward your house payment. Applicants will be evaluated on need, ability to pay and willingness to partner. TCHFH does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familiar status or national origin.
