The PDF includes the preliminary budgets for all funds and special benefit districts.
If no changes are made after the public hearing the property tax rate for the four main town funds (A, B, DA, and DB) will rise by approximately 2% (from approximately $4.99 to $5.08 per $1000 of assessed value).
This primary differences between the 2020 and 2021 budgets are the following:
- Appropriations for planned capital projects, such as broadband, Freeze Road Bridge, the Rail Trail, and needed maintenance and repairs to the town hall.
- Reduced non-tax revenue due to expected reductions in state funding.
- Special Districts (Water, Sewer, Lighting) also have upcoming capital projects that are accounted for in this budget.
Zoom Link information will be posted on Thursday.
