Since 2006 the Town of Dryden has provided more than $185,000 to Community Associations in Dryden for building repairs and playground improvements as well as community events, newsletters, websites and more. We applaud the volunteers of each Community Association for the work they do to strengthen our neighborhoods and enrich Dryden residents’ lives.

We are happy to announce that in 2013, these funds are not limited to just the five neighborhood associations and centers located in the Town of Dryden. A total of $32,000 is available to any community organization or individual in the Town of Dryden interested in applying funding for providing programming or projects which enrich the quality life for residents in the Dryden Community. Each organization or individual may apply for $300 to $32,000 in assistance per program or project.

This year the grant program is designed to complement the Town’s Recreation Department programming by helping the Dryden Community provide programs and facilities open to all Town of Dryden residents and tailored to each neighborhood’s needs and interests. The Dryden Recreation Commission reviews grant applications carefully to determine which projects can be recommended to the Town Board to maximize the community and townwide impact of public funding.
