Recreation: Adult Programs

 What is Pickleball? Pickleball is a racquet sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. This recreational sport is growing in popularity with all ages! Come give it a try with friends on Sunday afternoons. Equipment is provided, gym footwear is required. All skill levels welcome!! (under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult)


 Who: All ages!                                                   When: Sundays 9am-12pm

Where: TC3 Outdoor Tennis Courts                         June 5, 12, 26 & July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

Fee: $20 for the season or $3 per day

 Summer Tournament will be held Sunday, August 7th for $5 per person!

Senior Fit

Regular exercise can help boost your energy, maintain your independence, reduce your risk of falling, and manage your symptoms of illness or pain. Through a series of seated, standing, and walking exercises in this class you will increase strength, balance and coordination as well as improve your endurance.  Plus have lots of fun! The instructor for this program is Tamara Scott, a certified exercise physiologist who has been working with people of all ages as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for the past 15 years.

 For Adults 50+

Classes are held two days per week in the early afternoon

Bob Slocum Co-Ed Softball

This league is an organized, fun, and worthwhile adult softball league for men and women ages 18 and up. Ages 16 & 17 are welcome to play with a parental waiver signed.

Who: Ages 16 and up (16-17 need parental waiver)      When: Games are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Where: Dryden Central High School Fields       Registration and League Fee Due: Tuesday, May 17th

League Play Begins: June 7th

Dryden Area Intergenerational Band and Chorus

Become part of the tradition!

 Anyone of any age or musical ability is welcome to joint. Free of charge. No auditions. Six weekly rehearsals beginning the end of June and finishing with two local performances in early August.


Chorus:  Mondays, 7:00 – 9:00 PM, 6 weeks starting June 27th Dryden United Methodist Church. Chorus directed by Jennifer Rafferty

 Band:  Wednesdays, 7:00 – 9:00 PM, 6 weeks starting June 29th Location TBA. Band conducted by Elizabeth Eleck
