At 4 months of age, dog owners are required to obtain a dog license.
In order to obtain a dog license, proof of current rabies vaccination is required.
The fees for dog licensing in the Town of Dryden are:
$11 if Spayed/Neutered ($10 local fee, $1 state surcharge)
$23 if Unaltered ($20 local fee, $3 state surcharge)
If you need assistance obtaining a rabies shot for your dog, Tompkins and Cortland Counties hold clinics at various times during the year. For more information, visit their websites.
You can come to the town hall with the rabies certificate or mail a copy of the certificate along with an APPLICATION and a self-addressed return envelope to: Town Clerk, 93 E Main St, Dryden, NY 13053.
