Duties of Town Supervisor/Office:

• Chief Fiscal officer of Town
• Custodian of town moneys and disburses them within the limits of the Annual Budget upon the direction of the Town Board.
• Responsible for preparing tentative annual budget to be presented to Town Clerk by September 30th.
• Chair and voting member of Town Board
• Chair of Site Plan Review Board
• Chair of Special Permit hearings

Town Representative to:

• Ithaca Area Wastewater Treatment Facility (SJS)
• Southern Cayuga Lake Intermunicipal Water Commission
• Tompkins County Industrial Development Agency
• Tompkins County Metropolitan Planning Organization

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION

Use Purchase Orders to buy materials and supplies for any town department.
Approved minutes of meetings, Local Laws, Ordinances, and other town
papers can be seen at the Town Clerk’s office during normal working hours.
Copies are 25 cents per page.
