NEW FEE SCHEDULE – EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

The Town of Dryden has adopted a new fee schedule for building projects. Feel free to contact the Planning Department (844-8888 extension 2) with questions or concerns.

FRACKING BAN UPHELD!!!

In a 5-2 decision New York State Court of Appeals affirmed Dryden’s right to ban fracking through land use regulations.

NYSDEC: Twin Sheds Unit Management Plan

DECThis Unit Management Plan (UMP) has been developed to strategically guide the management activities on the State Forests in the Twin Sheds Unit for the next 20 years, with a review scheduled after 10 years. The 5,002 acre Unit is comprised of the Hammond Hill and Yellow Barn State Forests. Covering about 8 square miles, the Forests are located in the Tompkins County towns of Caroline and Dryden.
