Operation Green Light

The Town of Dryden, in observance of Operation Green Light, encourages its citizens in patriotic tradition to recognize the importance of honoring all those who the immeasurable sacrifices helped to preserve freedom, by displaying a green light in a window of their place of business or residence.

The Planning Department is Hiring a Part Time Code Enforcement Officer!

The Town of Dryden Planning Department is excited to announce that we have an opening for a part time Code Enforcement Officer. The Town of Dryden is continuously growing with new and exciting projects, and we need YOU! Come and be a part of our supportive and friendly team! This position would primarily perform required fire inspections but implement other code enforcement duties as required, vehicle provided. The position is 20 hours per week paid at $20-30/hour depending on experience. We also offer outstanding fringe benefits that include New York State retirement, flexible work schedules and continuing education opportunities. Possession of current New York State Code Enforcement certification is desirable.

Dryden Fiber Progress

Over the next few weeks, work will be starting on the Dryden Rail Trail from Route 13 South –> Route 38 –> Keith Lane. Residents should expect to see commercial equipment and workers on the pathway. Please be aware and use caution when using the trail.
