The Town Fire Coordinator interfaces between town government and local fire departments to ensure that mutual goals are met and that efficient and effective fire response service is provided throughout the Town of Dryden. The Coordinator identifies and pursues opportunities to assist local fire departments through grants, trainings, response coordination, and resource sharing. The Coordinator acts as liaison between the five fire departments that serve the Town of Dryden and the Dryden Town Board.

Town of Dryden Fire Protection Districts

The Town of Dryden is protected by 6 volunteer fire departments: Brooktondale Fire District, Etna Volunteer Fire Department, McLean Fire District, Neptune Hose Company No. 1 of Dryden (Dryden Fire Department), Varna Volunteer Fire Company, and W.B. Strong Company of Freeville (Freeville Fire Department). Brooktondale Fire District and McLean Fire District are independent Fire Districts.
